Where Are We We are located at the edge of the Bojčin Forest on the left bank of Sava River in the village of Progar. The village of Progar is one of the settlements belonging to the Surčin Municipality of the City of Belgrade. Surčin is located about 20 kilometers west of the downtown Belgrade, south of the Highway.
Driving Instructions In order to reach Progar one must drive through Surčin, Jakovo and Boljevci. If one is approaching via Highway, one possibility would be to exit Highway at the Belgrade Airport and turn right towards Surčin at the crossroads in front of the main Airport building. Other possibility would be to leave the Highway at the Dobanovci exit and from there on to drive towards and through Surčin, Jakovo, Boljevci, eventually reaching Progar. See map...
Public Transportation If traveling by public buses from downtown Belgrade, one could take bus 71 at Zeleni venac and ride it all the way to the last station at Ledine (Bežanija) where Progar's bus 605 starts its ride. Other bus lines whose routes intersect with the route of the line 605 are lines 601, 602, 604 and 610.
